This is a blog set up by residents of Prince George Road.

There are plans for Horizon School to be demolished next spring and rebuilt over 18 months. Some drawings can be seen in the reception of the school and others you can see below.

Some keys points are

- The new school is going to be bigger and double its student intake to approximately 150 students from age 2-16

- There will be a road for the school buses to drop off students which will run from beside 64 Prince George Road and snake behind the other houses all the way down to Wordsworth Road. School buses will sit there twice daily, dropping off and collecting students

- There appears to be an entrance to the school on Prince George Road

- The school buildings will be flush with the houses on Prince George Road

We are concerned about the plans and want to be proactive in ensuring that the residents are fully consulted and the nature of the street is preserved.
